Srinagar, Oct 2: In a significant community health initiative under the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, SKIMS MCH Bemina organized a Mega Blood Donation Drive, conducting two successful camps in collaboration with SDH Magam and 35 Battalion CRPF, Humhama.
The camp at SDH Magam saw enthusiastic participation from healthcare workers and local volunteers, while the CRPF-led camp witnessed commendable contributions from paramilitary personnel. A total of 80 blood points were collected, boosting regional blood reserves.
Dr. Suhail, HOD Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology at SKIMS MCH Bemina, extended heartfelt gratitude to all donors and partner institutions for their support and active involvement.
The drive aimed to raise awareness on voluntary blood donation and emphasized community engagement in life-saving activities. The initiative received widespread appreciation from both medical and civic bodies, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in promoting public health and building a stronger, healthier society.
