Sopore, Nov 3: A man from Mawer area of Handwara lost his life while another was critically injured in a road accident at Potkha locality of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Trust said that a vehicle met with an accident on Potkha road, resulting in critical injuries to two persons. Both were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Sopore, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Shakir Ramzan, while the injured has been identified as Imran Nazir, both residents of Kultari, Mawer, Handwara.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case for further investigation. [KNT]
