Kulgam, Nov 9: In a major offensive to dismantle the terror ecosystem in the district, Kulgam Police today launched a massive crackdown on Jammu & Kashmir Nationals Operating from Pakistan/Pak-Occupied-Kashmir (JKNOP).
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, multiple Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) were carried out at several locations in Mohammadpora, Kulgam, targeting individuals allegedly involved in facilitating, funding, and promoting terror activities on behalf of their relatives based across the border.
During the operations, several relatives and associates of active JKNOP members were booked under relevant provisions of law for their continued involvement in anti-national activities, including providing logistical support, spreading propaganda, and aiding recruitment. Police also seized digital devices and other incriminating materials during the raids.
Kulgam Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region, stating that the crackdown on the terror support network will continue until it is completely dismantled.
