Kulgam,Nov 11: In a significant step towards improving healthcare facilities, the Jan Aushadhi Store at District Hospital Kulgam will now remain open 24×7 to ensure uninterrupted availability of medicines for patients.
The initiative, taken under the supervision of Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kulgam, Dr. Syed Masood, aims to provide affordable and quality medicines to patients round the clock.
Local residents have lauded the move, appreciating the hospital administration for ensuring better healthcare access. “It’s a commendable step by Dr. Syed Masood. The availability of medicines at the lowest prices even during night hours will greatly benefit poor and needy patients,” said a local resident.
The Jan Aushadhi Store is part of the Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), which provides quality generic medicines at affordable rates, significantly reducing out-of-pocket medical expenses for patients.
