Shopian, Nov 12: Shopian Police on Wednesday launched coordinated search operations at several locations across the district, targeting the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) activists, officials said.
A senior police officer told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the teams carried out searches at the residence of Dr. Hameed Fayaz in Nadigam, Mohammad Yousuf Falahie in Chitragam, along with several other locations linked to JeI functionaries.
The searches were continuing when last reports came in, and officials said further details will be shared as the operation progresses. (KNC)
