Shopian, Nov 16: A girl died after she allegedly fell from a load carrier in the Vishroo Payeen area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district Saturday late night.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, that she was identified as Aizah Umar, daughter of Mohd Umar Dar, a resident of Vishroo Payeen.
According to initial reports, the girl fell from the moving vehicle and sustained critical injuries, resulting in her death on the spot.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accident, the officials added. (KNC)
