Kulgam, Nov 17: In a swift and coordinated operation, the Control Room Dooru team successfully trapped a black bear in an installed cage at Peer Takiya Kund. The rescue operation was carried out after locals reported frequent movement of the wild animal in the area, raising safety concerns.
Once safely secured in the cage, the bear was tranquilized by shooter Ovais Khan to ensure a stress-free and secure relocation process. The team then transported the animal and released it back into its natural habitat.
The entire operation was conducted under the close supervision of Gulzar Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad, and Adil Ahmad Naik, who ensured that the rescue adhered to all safety and wildlife protocols.
Residents appreciated the prompt action of the wildlife authorities, acknowledging their efforts to protect both human lives and wildlife in the region.
