Anantnag, Nov 21: A two-day youth seminar titled “Buland Aawaaz, Buland Iraade, Buland Mustaqbil: Kashmir ke Naujawanon se Mukalma” concluded on Wednesday at the Army Goodwill School, Khanabal, with a strong call for youth-led progress, social harmony and constructive public dialogue. The initiative was organised by 1 RR (MAHAR) / 1 Sector Rashtriya Rifles on 18–19 November 2025.
Bringing together 280 participants, including 269 students, the seminar served as a platform for Kashmiri youth to engage with prominent speakers on critical themes such as pluralism, educational empowerment, unity in diversity, women’s leadership, media awareness, evolving socio-cultural dynamics, and the constitutional landscape surrounding Article 370 and 35A. Each session was structured to promote analytical thinking and strengthen the idea of responsible, informed citizenship.
Open interactions and Q&A segments enabled participants to voice concerns, share aspirations and examine emerging opportunities in education, economic development, cultural engagement and community-building. The discussions reflected a growing commitment among young people to contribute meaningfully to Kashmir’s stability and long-term growth.
In his closing remarks, Brig Maneesh Parthasarthy, VSM, Commander 1 Sector RR, underscored that the youth remain the cornerstone of the region’s “Buland Mustaqbil”—a future envisioned as resilient, inclusive and forward-looking. He encouraged students to uphold unity, pursue excellence and remain active partners in peace and progress.
The seminar concluded with high engagement and a shared resolve among participants to work collectively towards a more harmonious and prosperous Kashmir.
