Anantnag: The Jammu and Kashmir Excise Department today organized an awareness programme on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at Crescent School Dialgam area of Anantnag District.
The school management expressed gratitude to the department for taking the initiative and conducting such an important programme for students. They stated that awareness at a young age plays a crucial role in preventing youth from falling prey to drugs.
A special highlight of the programme was a drawing competition, aimed at spreading the message through a creative and play-way method. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their understanding of the harmful effects of drug abuse through art.
Later, appreciation certificates were distributed among the students who delivered speeches on the topic and actively participated in the event.
