Jammu,12 Dec: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) State President Vivek Bali has called for an urgent investigation into the alleged circulation of adulterated eggs in local markets, warning that the issue poses a serious risk to public health. His demand comes after reports surfaced about suspected “carcinogenic” residues found in eggs being sold across several areas.

Bali urged the government to order scientific testing without delay, stressing that only a thorough examination can confirm whether harmful chemicals or synthetic substances are being used. He said the matter is directly linked to human safety and cannot be ignored.

According to Bali, the possibility of contaminated eggs entering homes has created fear among consumers. He noted that food-related negligence not only endangers lives but also erodes trust in the market system. He appealed to the administration to take strict action against anyone found responsible for adulteration.

Bali also asked health and food safety departments to increase market inspections and ensure that essential food items meet safety standards. He said strong monitoring is necessary to prevent such incidents from recurring.

The SBSP leader added that the government must treat the issue as a public health priority. He urged authorities to release the test results at the earliest so that people can be informed and reassured.

Bali said the aim is simple: protect citizens from harmful products and maintain confidence in everyday food supplies.
