Kulgam, January 02:On November 26, 2025, Police Station Kulgam received a missing person report from Waseem Ahmad Wani regarding his wife, Bisma Jan, who had gone untraceable since November 17, 2025, from her rented accommodation at Amnoo, Kulgam.
Recognizing the urgency of the matter, Kulgam Police promptly registered a missing report and initiated a comprehensive investigation. The police team employed diligent technical analysis along with sustained fieldwork to trace the missing woman.
The investigation eventually led the police team to Jalandhar, Punjab, where her whereabouts were established. Following a successful recovery operation, Bisma Jan was safely recovered and brought back to Kulgam today, where she was reunited with her family.
The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Kulgam Police for their tireless efforts, professionalism, and swift action in resolving the case and ensuring the safe return of their loved one.
