Sopore: The Republic Day celeberations were held with great National fervour and pride at Dangerpora today, where Tehsildar Kaisar Ahmad Zarger formally unfurled the National Flag in the presence of officials, students, and local residents. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and national harmony.
Besides other officers, the programme was also attended by DO Warpora Umar ul Islam, as the Guest of Honour. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief guest highlighted the importance of peace, development, and collective responsibility in nation-building, urging youth to contribute positively towards society and the country.
Mr. Zarger emphasized constitutional values, communal harmony, and public participation in strengthening democracy.
Meanwhile Cultural programmes , and student performances were also held during the event.
