Arms and Ammunition Recovered During CASO in Karnah, Kupwara

Kupwara, Jan 28: Security forces on Wednesday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) conducted in the Karnah sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the joint operation was carried out by Police Karnah in the Rati Tari forest area of Sector Taad, Karnah.

 

During the operation, security forces recovered arms, ammunition they said.

The recovery has been claimed by the police, and further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the source and intended use of the seized arms and ammunition. —(KNC)
