Anantnag, Feb 3: A pedestrian was killed in a road accident at Donipora Crossing in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday after being hit by an unknown vehicle officals said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner, that that the victim has been identified as Gull Mohammad Bhat, son of Mohd Abdullah, a resident of Donipora Sangam, Bijbehara, aged about 60 years.
He said that the injured was rushed to SDH Bijbehara for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The body has been kept at SDH Bijbehara for medico-legal formalities, while further investigation into the incident has been taken up.—(KNC)
