Anantnag Police Cancels Driving Licence in NDPS Case

Anantnag, April 15: Continuing its firm action against drug-related offences, Anantnag Police has cancelled the driving licence of an individual involved in a narcotics case, in accordance with the provisions of law.

The licence holder, Shahzada Suvaid S/O Manzoor Ahmad Shah, a resident of Bataqund, Tral, was found involved in FIR No. 83/2026 registered under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act. Accordingly, his driving licence bearing No. JK-1320150039016 has been cancelled as part of legal proceedings in the case.

This action is part of the sustained efforts of Anantnag Police to take strict measures against individuals engaged in drug peddling and to dismantle the ecosystem supporting narcotics trade.
