Budgam, April 25: The elections of the Bar Association Beerwah were held today at the Munsiff Court Beerwah in a cordial and democratic atmosphere, with enthusiastic participation from members of the legal fraternity.

In the contest for the post of President, Advocate Bilal Rather emerged victorious by defeating Advocate Inayat Malik and was elected as the President of the Bar Association Beerwah.

It is noteworthy that both Advocate Bilal Rather and Advocate Inayat Malik are respected figures within the legal community, known for their professional competence, integrity, and dedicated services. The election process was conducted in a positive environment marked by mutual respect, reflecting the true spirit of democratic values.

Advocate Muneer-ul-Rehman was elected as the General Secretary, while Advocate Tariq Ahmad assumed the office of Treasurer.

Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected President Advocate Bilal Rather expressed his gratitude to the members of the Bar for reposing their trust in him. He assured that he would work with dedication for the welfare of the legal fraternity and uphold the dignity and interests of the Association. He also extended special thanks to Advocate Naseer Khan for his support and encouragement.

Meanwhile, newly elected General Secretary Advocate Muneer-ul-Rehman also thanked the members for their confidence and pledged to work sincerely towards strengthening the Bar Association and addressing the issues faced by advocates.

Members of the legal fraternity expressed hope that under the leadership of Advocate Bilal Rather, the Bar Association Beerwah will achieve further progress while ensuring the welfare of advocates and strengthening the cause of justice.
