Kulgam, July 9: Senior police officer Waseem Khan was on Thursday promoted to the rank of Inspector during a ceremonial pipping function held at the District Police Office (DPO), Kulgam.
The promotion ceremony was presided over by Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir, who formally adorned the officer with the Inspector rank insignia and congratulated him on his well-earned elevation.
The ceremony was attended by senior police officers, including the Special Director General of Police (Spl DG), Inspector General of Police (IGP), Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, besides other officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP extended his best wishes to Inspector Waseem Khan and expressed confidence that he would continue to serve with dedication, integrity and professionalism while discharging his new responsibilities.
The event concluded with senior officers congratulating the newly promoted Inspector and wishing him success in his future assignments, reaffirming the police department’s commitment to recognizing merit and encouraging excellence in service.(KNC)
