Orientation Programme for Private School Heads and Teachers Held at HS Arizal

Budgam, October 3: With the objective of making the academic and administrative functioning of private educational institutions more effective, the Zonal Education Office Hardapanzoo organised an Orientation and Sensitisation Programme for Heads of Institutions and teachers of private schools at Higher Secondary School Arizal.

The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLA Khansahib, Advocate Saif Ud Din Bhat. He interacted with the heads and teaching staff of various private schools and also held discussions on different educational matters.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Zonal Education Officer Hardapanzoo, G. R. Nasir. The objective of the programme was to familiarise private school heads and teachers with various important initiatives under the National Education Policy 2020, as well as the effective use of digital platforms and technology-enabled educational facilities.

The Headmaster of Higher Secondary School Arizal, principals and heads of various private schools of Zone Hardapanzoo, teaching staff and resource persons were present on the occasion.

During the programme, participants were provided detailed information about the use of various educational digital platforms and online facilities. Special focus was also laid on competency-based education, improvement of educational standards, digital transformation, inclusive education and modern teaching methodologies.

Training and sensitisation sessions were conducted by resource persons of Zone Hardapanzoo, Shabir Ahmad Khan, Peer Rauf, Farooq Ahmad Magray, Riyaz Ahmad and Manzoor Ahmad. They provided practical guidance to the participants and made the sessions more interactive through question-and-answer sessions and discussions.

The programme was conducted under the overall supervision and coordination of Zonal Cultural Coordinator Hardapanzoo, Shaheen Kausar Ahmad, who also serves as the Zonal Nodal Officer for various digital platforms.

To ensure the participation of teaching staff from all private educational institutions, the Orientation Programme is being conducted in two phases. The initiative aims to involve a larger number of teachers and promote meaningful educational interaction and exchange of ideas.

The initiative reflects the commitment of the Zonal Education Office Hardapanzoo towards enhancing the capacity of teachers, improving educational standards, promoting digital transformation and further strengthening coordination between the Education Department and private educational institutions.

The programme aims to facilitate the advancement of the education system in accordance with the objectives and spirit of the National Education Policy 2020.
