Srinagar : A 55-year-old women was crushed to death while her son was seriously injured in a road mishap in Mujgund area of Srinagar outskirts.
An official told KDC that a motorcycle in which elderly women and her son were traveling was hit by a speedy truck bearing registration number JK16A 8123, resulting in serious injuries to both.
Both were immediately shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar where the women identified as Sara Begum was declared as brought dead by doctors while his son is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
A police official while confirming the incident told KDC that an FIR under relevant sections has been registered and both the vehicles have been seized, further investigations are on.
