Forged compassionate appointment in MES detected: Crime Branch Jammu registers FIR

Srinagar: Crime Branch Jammu registers a criminal case against accused (1) Darshan Singh S/o Bansi Lal, (2) Bansi Lal S/o Sh. Nand Lal both residents of village Ratnal, Jammu for procuring compassionate appointment of accused Darshan Singh in MES Department by means of forged and fabricated documents in connivance and criminal conspiracy with the officials of MES Department.
As per a statement of Crime Branch , Written complaint by Shankar Singh S/o Late Sh. Tej Ram R/o Vill. Ratnal, Bishnah, duly endorsed by Ld. Special Municipal Mobile Judicial Magistrate Ist Class Jammu was received in Crime Branch Jammu alleged that his father late Tej Ram R/o village Ratnal Tehsil Bishnah district Jammu was working as a Mate in GE(P) No. 2 C/o 56 APO and designated as GE Kalu Chak and he died in a motor vehicle
accident on 27-09-1986 at Jammu. Said Bansi Lal elder brother of deceased Tej
Ram was also serving in MES as an Electrician in the same office at Kalu Chak and
after the death of the father of the complainant, said Bansi Lal started following the
case of family pension as well as for compassionate appointment. Bansi Lal got
appointment order of his son Darshan Singh as a Peon in MES Department on
compassionate grounds as ward of deceased Tej Ram, father of the complainant by
means of forged and fabricated documents in connivance and criminal conspiracy
with the officials of MES Department.

   The complainant further alleged that he came to know about these facts only in the month of July, 2012 when they received letter from Head Quarters commander Wks Engineers, Jammu C/o 56 APO along-with the copies of various documents. Taking cognizance into the matter, a preliminary verification was conducted  by Crime Branch, Jammu. Documentary evidence established prima facie allegations levelled against the accused persons Darshan Singh and Bansi Lal of fraudulently, dishonestly and intentionally forging the documents for getting appointment in the MES Department. Connivance of officials of the MES Department was also established.

    A formal case has been registered in P/S Crime Branch, Jammu against the said accused persons and investigation initiated.
