Anantnag, June 01: Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha while on his maiden visit to Government Medical College Hospital Anantnag to take stock of the medicare facilities bring provided to the patients at the said hospital praised and admired the efforts of Consultant Radiologist, Dr Owais H Dar ‘for his working style’.

Sinha congratulated Dr Dar in a personal interaction and exhorted him ‘to be like that and help needy patients.’

“The doctor is role model for other doctors for his dedication and determination towards his duties as well as providing online Consultations to hundreds of Covid positive patients even when he was himself suffering from the moderate Covid disease”, Sinha remarked on the occasion.

It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Owais H Dar is General Secretary of DAK and a notable Radiologist, posted at GMC Hospital Anantnag for last six years. Dar besides rendering his services at the said Hospital has been also providing Teleconsultion services to covid Positive Patients as well as tele-radiology services to hundreds of patients across the UT.

Dr Owais H Dar has in the meantime, as per GNS, extended his gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for praising his efforts, saying that ‘encouragement by such dignitaries raises the morale of healthcare workers.’

“All praises go to Govt. Medical College Anantnag for providing them necessary logistics and other facilities to provide best facilities to people of South Kashmir”, the doctor further said. (GNS)
