Budgam, June 3: A little girl who is missing from her locality is believed to be taken away by a leopard from Government Housing Colony Ompora here in Central Kashmir’s Budgam.
Police and locals were searching for the missing girl when this report was being filed at around 9:30 of the Thursday evening.
Local sources told Kashmir News Trust the 4-year-old girl identified as Adha Shakil was playing when leopard pounced over here and take her away. Locals said there are blood stains all around and they are quite sure about the involvement of the leopard.
A police officer said that prima facie it seems that leopard has taken the girl away still they can’t say anything with authority.
In recent past people spotted herd of leopards in the area while some of them were even captured. (KNT)
