Srinagar, June 08: Jammu and Kashmir grips under heat wave From past many days and Srinagar has recorded seasons hihest maximum temperature of 34.3 degree celsius here in Srinagar Meteorological Departed has said that heat wave is likely to continue for next 2 – 3 days, and has predicted Light rainfall from 12th June in Kashmir Valley.

An official at Meteorological department Srinagar told KB — Kashmir Bulletin that heat wave is likely to continue for next 2 – 3 days in Kashmir Valley and there is possibility of light rainfall with thunder from 12th June to 14th June, official said.

Official further said that Srinagar recorded max temperature of 34.3 Degree Celsius while as Jammu Recorded 41.6 degree Celsius, He said.

Giving details of other district official said that Qazigund recorded 33.4°C, Pahalgam recorded 29.4°C, Kupwara recorded 34.0°C, Kukernag recorded 32.0°C, Gulmarg 25.0°C, Banihal 31.8°C, Batote 30.5°C, Katra 38.8°C, Baderwah 32.8°C, While as leh recorded 27.1°C, he said.

Official said that isolated heat wave is likely to Continue on 9th and 10th of June he added.(KB — Kashmir Bulletin)
