Budgam, June 16: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Goripora area of Hyderpora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
Reports reaching news agency KDC said a joint team of the SOG Budgam and 129 battalion of CRPF cordoned off the Goripora area in Budgam village and conducted house to house searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.
Police sources told KDC that a search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
