Stray dog on prowl in Anantnag villages, 12 injured so far

A stray dog attacked and injured at least one dozen people in Palpora , Ganiepora, Ara-Koshipora and Damhal Villages of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district in last two days.

  Sources told that a stray dog appeared and attacked dozen of people in a single day in different villages and have spread a reign of terror in the villages. The injured were shifted to district hospital and were given anti-rabies vaccine (ARV), they said.

Locals of the area said that they have stopped sending their children out of their homes as they fear stray dog are roaming in the village and attack whosoever comes in their way. They have appealed to authorities to act against the increasing population of the canines.
