Kupwara, June 30: As part of continued efforts to support the youth of Kupwara and promote sports amongst the youth, Kupwara Terriers provided football kit (Uniforms, Nets for the Goal post and Footballs) to the youth Football team of Hiri, Kupwara on 28 June 2021.
Mr Sabder Abbas, Captain of the Youth Football team of Hiri expressed gratitude and thanks to 160 TA for always supporting the youth of Kupwara and promoting a positive sporting culture.
Col Swaraj Bhattacharya CO 160 Inf bn TA (H&H) JAK RIF assured support to the team in the future as well and reiterated the importance of sports in creating a positive environment to harness the sporting talent in the valley.
The Indian Army is committed to promote positivity, team spirit and steer the youth away from violence and negative influences.
