Anantnag: A tourist lady who died of cardiac arrest at Famous tourist resort Pahalgam.Locals arranged her last rites.
“People are kind here in Kashmir, they are unlike what is told to us outside.”
A tourist from Maharashtra namely Rajni died of cardiac arrest in Pahalgam in South Kashmir on Wednesday. The locals took the women to the hospital & arranged for her last rites.
Commenting further on the communal harmony in Kashmir son of Rajini said; “We do not know of anything about the last rites of my mother Rajini the local Muslims arranged and provided everything, they told us it is like our family no need to worry and they arrange wood etc for last rites I am very thankful to them.”
Local Kashmiri said We do not know of any religious discrimination, we always have been one community and no attempts to polarize.
He said that the community irrespective of religion has spent their whole lives as one.
