Jammu, Nov 14: A soldier ended his life by committing suicide with his service rifle in Rajouri district on Sunday.
Belong to elite Para unit of the army and posted with Romeo force in Rajouri district, the soldier identified as NK Deepak Singh fired upon himself with AK-47 rifle at the unit where he was posted.
A police official confirming the incident told GNS that while investigations have been launched, it was not immediately known why the soldier took the extreme step. (GNS)
