Srinagar: Renowed Businessman & Youth Leader Asif Wangnoo thanked Director of tourism G.N Itoo sahab for his dedication towards  work after assuming the charge & to boost Tourism in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

In  a Statement Asif told, Record no of Tourists visit Kashmir this year, but all credit goes to Director Tourism and its officers who had lined up various activities and promoting destination festivals.

“Floating cinema in dal lake, Solar illumination of Shikara’s were installed to attract tourists by the personal efforts of Tourism and SMC department collectively”.Asif said,

He requested that same lights should be  installed in Nigeen Lake also to attract tourists, As Nigeen lake Also plays important role in tourism industry some attention should be paid towards promoting it too.

Asif said, The  lightning system is defunct at Cherry park (Nigeen lake) and should be repaired on priority. When this park was made it had one of the best lighting system and tourists and locals were enjoying it. It attracted tourists and made Nigeen lake more famous, but unfortunately after 1 year it became dysfunctional

He urged Director G.N Itoo sb Smc commissioner Athar Amir sb and SMC Mayor Junaid Azim Matoo sb to look into this important issue for the welfare of Tourism industry.
