Anantnag, Feb, 18: With sheer grit and hard work, blind girl from Verinag secured 85% Marks in 10th Exam.
Syed Hiqmat Yaseen a 100% blind student from Sir Syed Memorial Institute Dooru secured 85% marks in the 10th examinations with sheer grit and hard work.
Hailing from Bonagund verinag of district Anantnag, Hiqmats father sent his daughter to Zeba Apa institute Bijbehara hiqmat completes 8th Standard in zeba Apa after that she sent to sir syed memorial for further studies. However“She used to stay awake till late in the night and learn her lessons and all her hard work has finally paid off. I am sure that she will achieve great heights in life,” hiqmats father added, beaming with joy
Another Blind Student Afroza Jan, daughter of Mohammad Ibrahim Hajam, a resident of Bamdoora, Anantnag district, a blind student, got 369 (74%) marks in 10th class and got second position in her school. Afroza’s father is labour by profession.Afroza starts her studies from Government primary School Voi Bamdoora till 8th class and later enrolled in Government High School, Bamdoora and passed the 10th examination with good marks. Afroza’s father faced severe difficulties but his daughter was unfamiliar with education. He was not able to do it all appreciates afroza’s hard work.
