Srinagar, Jul 25 : In order to ensure immediate roll out and implementation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the government on Monday ordered setting up of office of Mission Director ABDM J&K as part of Directorate of National Health Mission (NHM)J&K.
As per order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi Principal Secretary to the government, Health and Medical Education Department, a copy of which lies with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mission Director NHM J&K has been nominated as MD ABDM and Dr Shafqat Khan has been nominated as additional MD ABDM.
It said that The Mission Directorate, ABDM should establish a State/UT team to enable effective implementation of the day-to-day operations of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission as per the guidelines of the Mission and the efficacy of the instant set up shall be reviewed on quarterly basis by the Administrative Department to further streamline the logistics to carry out operations of the ABDM to meet the laid down objectives in a time bound manner—(KNO)
