Srinagar, Aug,21: Police on Sunday claimed to have foiled a major militant incident by recovering an IED weighing about 10-12 kilograms in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“On a specific input of police, an IED, approx 10-12 Kgm has been recovered in Beihgund area of Tral,” police said in a tweet as per GNS. “Police and Army are on the job to destroy it insitu,” police said, adding, “A major (militant) incident averted”. (GNS)
