Jammu, Aug 21: A soldier allegedly ended his life in Rajouri district, official sources said on Sunday.
They said Naik A S Reddy of army’s 49 RR had used rope to take the extreme step at a camp in Mankote area of the districta few days ago.
Soon after finding him in unconscious state with rope tied around, his fellow colleagues rushed towards him and immediately shifted to Army hospital Rajouri. However he succumbed today, they said.
Reason for him taking such a drastic step was not immediately known, they added. (GNS)
