Kulgam, Sep 26: A massive cordon and search operation is underway in Batapora area of Chawalgam village here in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Joint Forces including police, CRPF and soldiers from 9 Rashtriya Rifles have cordoned of the village after receiving inputs about the movement of militants.
Police sources confirmed that a CASO is in progress. Sources, however, added that no contact with militants has been established yet. (KNT)
