Srinagar, Oct 06: :A teacher from the Rafiabad area of Baramulla district has penned down his 4th book, “A Harvest of Reminiscences”. The book offers indelible memories of Kashmir.

The author of this book, Manzoor Akash, told Kashmir News Trust that the book will help the readers develop the habit of reflection in a highly enjoyable way as the title itself creates curiosity among the readers.
“A Harvest of Reminiscences” This book is exclusive in its presentation where the narrations are real-life instances in the form of parables, which touch the readers’ hearts. Every insight presented in the book teaches us how valuable life is.

“This book will refresh every reader’s beautiful past. My reminiscences are my precious treasures, which I didn’t simply want to remain untold. So, I recalled and preserved them in this book. I am sure my book will solace readers and create curiosity among them in the whole country, especially in the migrant fraternity of my valley who still miss their homeland”. Akash said.

The author of this book hails from Shangergund, in the Rafiabad area of Baramulla district. He is a recipient of the National Peace Award. He was also honoured with the J&K Smart Teacher Award in 2021 by Shaikshik Aagaaz, for which he is the district level co-coordinator.

Known as Shakespeare during his university days, Manzoor Akash is the youngest short story writer, poet, and columnist. He frequently publishes his articles in local dailies. His books, Verse of Heart, Handy Volume, and The Legacy of Light, have made him a youth icon in society.

Akash’s book ‘A Harvest of Reminiscences’, which is a treasure trove of wonderful memories, is the first book on the subject written from Kashmir.

The book was simultaneously published in India by two publishers: Blue Rose Publishers, New Delhi, and Evincepub Publishers, Bilaspur, Chhatisgrah. The book is available on marketing sites like Amazon, flipkart, bspkart, evencipub, kobo, amazon kindle, etc.

It was released worldwide on September 10th, which was a full moon day, an appropriate day for the release of the book. The book is priced at Rs. 250.
