As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Sinha said that he was optimistic that the concerned administration of these institutes will further improve it.

Speaking during the inauguration at NIT Srinagar’s guest house and sports facility, Sinha said, “In past 2-3 years due to good atmosphere that has been developed here, the ranking of the higher educational institutes and Universities is going good here and I believe in the administration of these institutes that they will further improve it.”

He said, “This time we have sought suggestions from the Vice Chancellors of the all Universities of Jammu and as to where the government can invest more capital so that the local students in Jammu and Kashmir will excel across India.”

Sinha further added, “I hope that the ranking in Higher Educational Institutes will further improve. NIT and other higher educational institutions are the establishments of people of Jammu and Kashmir and India.”

Besides, the LG also said, “In Kashmir, the roads usually get damaged in winters, but that doesn’t mean that we will stop there. The technology of hot-mix to cold-mix is being used throughout the world. This variety will help us in constructing such roads that won’t get damaged even in the harsh winters.”

He said, “We are also looking to develop an advanced mechanism for the far flung areas to send a signal to them, adding. Adding, I think, the problems of the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be solved with the help of the people here.”—(KNO)
