In what is called to be an achievement in the examination history of Kashmir University, the results of BALLB & LLB (Hons) were declared within a few weeks by the examination wing of Kashmir University.

The students of the School of Law pay thanks to the newly appointed Controller of Examinations Mr Majid Zaman for the timely declaration of results.

Gazi Muzamil, a law student who is also the President of the J&K Students Movement, described it as historic.

He said, “our results were declared within a few weeks, saving us valuable time. The results of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th semesters of the LLb were pending since 2020, but after being taken over by Prof. Majid, they were declared in a few days.”

The document work in his office has become hassle-free now, and the students are having full access to the office of the controller which is being widely appreciated by the students’ fraternity, Gazi said

Adil Thakur another student said that earlier It would take months or more for the university to evaluate the results and hold exams.

“The change in the office has revamped the process of evaluation and has been a sign of relief for the students,” he said.

The new controller is student-friendly and works beyond the official working hours in his office which is rare in varsity. He added

Pertinently, the examinations were transferred from the Law Department to the Controller Examinations in August of this year for 5 years.
