Kulgam, Sep, 02: In a tragic incident, a minor girl drowned while playing near an irrigation canal in the Laisoo Gudder area of Kulgam District.
The minor girl identified as named Zaira Imtiyaz, daughter of Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat accidentally fell into the canal while playing nearby, officials told.
She was immediately rushed to the District Hospital in Kulgam for treatment.
However, upon arrival, doctors declared her brought dead.
Police reached the spot and took cognizance of matter.
