Anantnag, Sep, 05: Teachers Day was celebrated at Scholars Scientific Institute Mominabad with great fervor and enthusiasm, under the guidance and leadership of School Principal Masrat Jan.
Students from various classes participated in the event perform various cultural programmes drama, read out poetry, speech, sang songs, highlighting the role of teachers in mentoring them to achieve their desired goals.The skit items were presented by school students, while a number of speakers highlighted the importance of teachers in shaping the personality of the students.
The programme was attended by Teaching Staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the Institute.
While speaking on the occasion, the Principal emphasised the important role of a teacher in a student’s life, as the true Nation-builders and a source of knowledge & wisdom.
She underscored the contributions of teachers in shaping the students’ careers and channelizing their energies in the right direction.
She further highlighted teachers’ role in realising the hidden talent of the students to help them make their mark in academics and beyond.
Students of lower and Middle classes performed with excellence and impressed the teachers with their performance.
The Scouts both boys and Girls of Higher Standard in collaboration with teachers perform their duty with zeal to maintain Discipline Properly.
