KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 10: A significant event was held today as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign under the theme ‘Let Us Vote for a Bright Future,’ at Higher Secondary School Bugam, Kulgam.

The programme brought together an enthusiastic gathering of teachers, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), BAG members from various polling stations, students, and senior citizens.
The focus of the event was on educating participants about the importance of voting and offering guidance on the voting procedure. The program sought to foster a deeper understanding of civic responsibility among all attendees, aiming to cultivate a more informed and participatory community.
In addition to the core theme of the event, a Plantation Drive was carried out in collaboration with the Forest Department under the SVEEP initiative at various polling stations.
This drive underscored the environmental and civic consciousness central to the SVEEP mission.
During the event, Nodal Officer SVEEP AC 39-Kulgam addressed the audience, emphasizing the pivotal role of voting in shaping a prosperous and sustainable future. His address highlighted the symbiotic relationship between active civic participation and the progress of society.
