Kulgam: 07 November 2024 In order to make policing services available to the people living in far flung areas, DIG SKR Shri Javid Iqbal Mantoo-IPS In presence of SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS and other senior officer inaugurated police post at D.K Marg. The police post comes under police station DH.Pora. it is pertinent to mention that people had to travel as far as 25 kms to police station DH.Pora for there complaints or verifications or any other police assistance. This establishment has brought policing at the door steps of population which used to face lot of inconvenience and problems while comming down to police station at DH.Pora.
People of the village Marg and adjacent areas applauded the efforts of kulgam police for inaugurating the said police post in their vicinity to solve their issues at an earliest.
