Kulgam, Dec, 10: An auto driver who was critically injured in a road accident in the Khudwani Bypass area of Kulgam district succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura on Tuesday morning.
Sources informed that the victim, Sareer Ahmad Khanday, son of Mohd Akram Khanday, a resident of Bongam, Kulgam, was involved in a collision with an I-10 vehicle on Monday evening. He was severely injured in the accident and was immediately rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, Sareer Ahmad Khanday succumbed to his injuries at around 2:50 AM on Tuesday.
Following the incident, the police have registered a case, and an investigation into the accident is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Local authorities have assured that they are looking into all aspects of the incident.
