Srinagar Aug 4: Ehsaas Foundation, a prominent Non-Government organization known for its humanitarian efforts, organized a free tea service for thousands of devotees attending the annual Urs of revered Sufi poet and saint, Hazrat Faqeer Abli Wani (R.A.) at Waniyar Eidgah.
The initiative, part of the Foundation’s continuous community outreach programs, was warmly received by the attendees who gathered to pay homage to the legendary saint known for his poetry, piety, and spiritual teachings.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of Ehsaas Foundation, Zahoor Malik, emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and brotherhood in today’s world.
“Hazrat Faqeer Abli Wani (R.A.)’s message was rooted in love, tolerance, and spirituality. It is our duty to uphold those values in our society. Through such small acts of service, we aim to foster a sense of togetherness and mutual respect,” he said.
The Foundation also expressed gratitude to its volunteers and supporters who made the event a success. The free tea stall remained active throughout the day, symbolizing the spirit of selfless service and devotion
The Urs concluded with soulful recitations and prayers, echoing the timeless legacy of Hazrat Abli Wani (R.A.) and drawing people from all walks of life.
