Anantnag, Aug 19: In a major crackdown on terror networks, Anantnag Police on Tuesday attached the immovable property of an active terrorist in Bijbehara under relevant provisions of law.
In a statement issued here to news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the property belonging to active terrorist Adil Hussain Thoker, located at Guree, Bijbehara (Khasra No. 165 MIN), was attached under Section 83 CrPC in connection with FIR No. 11/2023, registered under Sections 20, 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and 2/3 of the EIMCO Act.
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continue such measures against individuals involved in unlawful and anti-national activities, reads the statement. (KNC)
