Srinagar, December 26: Police on Friday said that it have took prompt cognizance of a video circulating on social media depicting a scuffle among young boys.
In a handout to GNS, the police said that acting swiftly, all individuals involved were identified and traced within 24 hours.
The action was carried out by PS Kunzer under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg. Necessary legal proceedings have been initiated as per law.
In addition to legal action, the belligerent boys were counselled and warned to refrain from such activities in the future. They were advised to focus on their studies, careers, and positive pursuits.
Baramulla Police reiterates its commitment to maintaining peace and public order and appeals to parents and guardians to guide the youth towards responsible and lawful conduct, reads the statement.(GNS)
