ATM Card Theft Case: Shergari Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect

Srinagar, Feb 6: Police Station Shergari, Srinagar, has sought public assistance in identifying an individual allegedly involved in stealing an ATM card from an elderly person and fraudulently withdrawing ₹85,000 from the victim’s bank account.

Police as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said, the accused is suspected to have misused the stolen ATM card soon after committing the theft, causing significant financial loss to the senior citizen. A case has been registered and investigations are underway to trace and apprehend the suspect at the earliest.

Police have appealed to the general public to share any information that could help in identifying or locating the accused. Anyone with relevant details has been asked to immediately contact Police Station Shergari at 9596770525. (KNC)
