LG Sinha chairs high-level meet to review law and order in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 03: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday chaired a meeting of senior police and civil administration officials at the Police Control Room, Kashmir, to review the prevailing law and order situation in the Valley.

According to a post on X, the Lt Governor directed officers to remain on heightened alert and take all necessary measures to ensure public peace and tranquility.

Emphasising the importance of collective responsibility, the LG, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), appealed to citizens and community leaders to uphold harmony and contribute to an atmosphere of calm and goodwill in society.

He noted that preserving peace and sustaining progress requires the active participation of all sections of society—(KNO)
