Kulgam, Feb 14: On the auspicious occasion of Herath (Shivratri), Advocate Zaman Irshad Parray, a proud son of Kashmir, extended his heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to the entire Kashmiri Pandit community across Jammu & Kashmir, India, and the diaspora worldwide.
In his message, Advocate Parray described Herath as a sacred festival that reflects the rich cultural heritage, spiritual depth, and timeless traditions of Kashmir. He said the festival symbolizes devotion, family bonding, renewal, and harmony with nature and the divine.
“The Kashmiri Pandit community has been an integral and inseparable part of the soul of Kashmir for centuries. Your traditions, wisdom, and invaluable contributions have enriched our shared homeland immeasurably. On this blessed occasion of Herath, I wish every member of the community peace, prosperity, good health, and the fulfillment of all your cherished aspirations,” he stated.
He further emphasized the importance of unity and shared heritage, saying, “We are part of each other — always have been, and always will be. The threads of our common Kashmiri identity bind us together beyond time, distance, or circumstance. In the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and brotherhood, let this Herath strengthen the bonds of love and understanding among all Kashmiris.”
Advocate Parray also prayed for the well-being of every family observing the holy festival and expressed hope for a future where all communities in Kashmir celebrate their traditions in an atmosphere of complete peace and harmony.
He concluded by extending warm greetings to one and all, wishing everyone a joyous and blessed Herath Mubarak.
