Kulgam: Police Station Kulgam, in collaboration with Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kulgam, organized an informative awareness programme focusing on the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in nation building.
Officials from the Police Department, including SI Waheed Moqeem and SI Varun Thakur, were present on the occasion and delivered a detailed lecture on the life and contributions of Sardar Patel.
The programme featured a lecture on the topic, “The Life and Contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Nation Building,” highlighting his pivotal role in the integration of princely states and in strengthening the unity and integrity of the country.
Students and faculty members of the institution actively participated in the session, showing keen interest in learning about the legacy of the “Iron Man of India.” The speakers emphasized the importance of unity, leadership, and patriotism, drawing inspiration from Sardar Patel’s life.
The initiative aimed to educate the younger generation about the contributions of national leaders and to inspire them to play a responsible role in society. The programme concluded with prize distribution among the top three students.
